1. What is Surfline Mobile Premium?

Surfline Mobile Premium offers access to the worlds most reliable surf report network, giving you a precise reading on what the waves are doing at nearly 100 surf spots around the globe. Each report features current conditions and live cam image, and a forecast summary, with detailed tide charts, wind data, water temperatures and more.

2. Can I use Surfline Mobile Premium with my phone?

3. What information I can access with Surfline Mobile Premium?

With Surfline Mobile Premium, you can access a variety of surf information from your handset.

Surf Summary: This gives you the global forecast summary each day. Surfline tracks long range swell information and gives a ‘head’s up’ summary of what’s coming for the week ahead.

Select Region/Sub Region/Break: Selecting this option, you can browse the list of Regions (i.e., Hawaii, So Cal), Sub Regions (i.e., North Shore, Orange County). Then select a surf break to see Surf Break Menu and report details.

Surf Report: Offers a precise reading on what the waves are doing at nearly 100 surf spots around the globe. Each report features detailed information describing exactly what the surf and conditions are like each morning by 7AM.

Wind: Knowing what the wind is doing is critical to scoring good waves. Surfline Mobile Premium offers access to regional wind data updated every half hour.

Weather: Get a quick daily weather outlook for your favorite surf spots.

Tide: Daily tide charts provide information that’s vital for knowing what the tides will be like when you hit the beach.

Forecast: Offers a quick summary of what’s happening over the next 8 hours for each spot Surfline covers.

Live Cam: Up-to-the-minutes surf break live cam image.

4. What is Home Break and how I can use it?

Home Break is the option where you can register your favorite surf breaks. By using the Home Break feature, you can quickly find the surf conditions of your favorite breaks. Bypass regular navigation (selection of Regions / Sub Regions / Breaks).

How To Use Home Break:

From Surfline Mobile Premium Main menu, select “Home Break”. Then Home Break Menu is displayed.
If you already registered Home Break(s), break name(s) appears.
Select desired Home Break Name, and you will see Surf Break Menu.
You can delete Home Breaks from Home Break Menu.

5. How often Surf Report, Forecast and Surf Summary are updated?

The surf reports and the surf summary are updated daily by 7AM. Wind data is updated every half hour.

6. I see the following messages when I start Surfline Mobile Premium. Why and what I should do?

"The phone has limited space and the application will run without advanced features like caching"

You will see this alert message when your phone does not have enough memory space for Surfline Mobile Premium to run with advanced features, such as caching information.
To activate the caching feature, you will need to create enough memory space in your phone by removing or disabling some of your other downloaded applications.

7. I see the following error messages when I start Surfline Mobile Premium, and I can run the application. Why and what I should do?

"The phone does not have enough space to run the application. Please delete a few applications and try again."

Surfline Mobile Premium displays this error message and will not run when the handset does not have enough memory space. You will need to create enough memory space in your phone by removing or disabling some of your other downloaded applications.
